Just an excuse to wear spandex....

This morning Sterling did his first sprint triathlon at the Cooper Clinic in McKinney. In this event Sterling swam 350 meters (about 7 laps), biked 12 miles then ran a 5K. Ellen and I went to cheer him on and document his first race. I think this could be the first of many races for Sterling.

Sterling finished 124th out of 500!!! Not too shabby for his first time!

Great job Sterling! I have a tri on Sunday, not going to do as well as him considering today was the 2nd time I have swam in 3 years! Yikes! I just wanna finish! Great pics!
